"And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD." Psalm 27:6

Welcome to our home page. I am not much of a publisher or graphic arts designer, but I like to play around a bit. My name is Christen Lofland, and my wife is Jerusha. We currently make our home in Wichita, Kansas (Air Capital of the World). Allen Lofland is my dad.
Jerusha and I were married on October 13th, 2001. The picture on the left is us. The one on the right is my dad's parents. We now have TWO children, Melissa and Benjamin and a third one on the way! Most of what goes on in our lives can be seen on our pictures page, which is just about all that is ever updated on this site anymore.
I spent eight months in Russia teaching English in a public school in 1994/1995. I spent two years as a full time volunteer for an international Christian organization called the Institute in Basic Life Principles. There I worked with young people who have been in trouble with the law. I am an MCSE for NT4, and an MCSA on Windows Server 2003. I worked for CharacterLink, a Chicago based division of the Institute in Basic Life Principles for two years. CharacterLink is an Internet provider that pre-approves all of the sites that are available through it. I worked in the Network Operations department of this small ISP. I moved back to Wichita, Kansas in 1999 and went to work for SBC, which is now AT&T, in June of 2000. I am currently a Unix System Administrator and work with HPUX, Solaris, AIX and Linux.
Please contact me and let me know what you think of my home page. I am a techie, not an artist, so I welcome any tips, hints, or comments! I'd also like to see who's hit my home page. :)

Since May 31, 1996
This site has been live since September of 1995.
By the way, we live in Kansas now, but my family spent 20+ years in Louisiana (15 for me), so we like boats and the water in general. My dad sold sailboats for most of those 20 years... (In case you were wondering about some of the pictures.)

Come back often! I hope to update this often, and to make it a place of encouragement for all of those who take up the cross of Christ. "Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another." - Romans 14:19
