Christmas at Nasuli

Thanks to my dear friends here, I didn't miss out on anything!

My friend Dietlinde and I worked together to construct a Christmas tree out of fresh evergreen branches. When we were finished it had an interesting shape, but at least it smelled right! It was the first time I'd gotten sweaty decorating a Christmas tree...


For Christmas Eve, a group of us got together at her house. After a fine meal, we sang carols together, laughed a lot, and opened gifts. So what if I was the youngest person there!


Christmas morning I spent with Bob and Pearl Williams, opening more gifts.

The single ladies here usually share Christmas dinner together, and they invited me to join them. We even let two older couples come, too. The table was loaded with every kind of holiday dish, and the Butterball turkey was a real treat!
